This is inspired by the K-mums, one of my favourite people on planet Earth.
I went to BP plaza to run errands for one of them this morning. K for Krazy, K for Karing. I'll refer to each of them as Krazy and Karing according to their personalities. Kindly substitute 'C' for the 'K' if you don't get it. I love both their personalities even though they are just so different. One is crazy, impatient and direct, the latter is sensitive, calm and motherly.
We, my sister and I, befriended Krazy and Karing 2 years back. I enjoy their company although we don't really have common topics. We interact like chickens talking to ducks. Most of the time we are misunderstood, 2-way, but I guess we always choose to interpret each other positively so somehow we are able to maintain this relationship. Can you imagine talking to them when they can't even differentiate words like 'January', 'June' and 'July', just because they start with the letter 'J'. O.M.G. Let's not go on about this.
Anyway, Krazy just announced that she will be returning to her homeland next January. Yes! I double and triple confirmed that 'January' means first month of the year. Yes! It's so soon! Good riddance! I'm planning to make a "SoJu" farewell cum oh-finally! card. "So" stands for her younger daughter and "Ju" her elder daughter. It's deliberately in this order as Soju actually means a Korean alcohol that Krazy loves. I secretly feel that her children were named this way simply because she had no idea how to name them. It's possible because she is thatttt crazy.
Krazy is very direct, she asked me this today. "Do you meet your bf every month?" Fyi, i'm in an LDR. He's working hard in Indonesia now. How is it possible that I meet him every month when she knows I have to work too? She doesn't really think before speaking most of the time. Right after I answered, "No, I don't." She teased, "I miss Anton!!" Sick.
Karing is a warm and nice to be with. I love her Korean dishes. I wonder when she'll invite my sis and me for meals again. Korean Curry, Bibimbap, Kimbap, Kimchi Bokeum Bap, Duk Bokkie. Now that Krazy had decided to go back, she's in a dilemma as to whether to stay one more year without her crazy friend who rents an apartment with her. She lacks confidence sometimes. Krazy is the one "advising" her most of the time. Anyway, I hope she makes a good decision. I'll always be happy to provide support as a friend. Happy to have known her. Come to think of it, she's the one who made me realize that having a personality like hers is not wrong after all. I always thought that being inactive is somewhat wrong. But not true. Everyone contribute in their own special ways. :)
The both of them often discourages me from getting married too early whenever I discuss about it thinking that they should understand since they are already mothers. So wrong to discuss it with them, they confuse me. They make the idea of marriage seem so intimidating. Oh ya! They were the ones who taught me how to be vain. Krazy always looks us up and down and gives "professional" comments about our attire or complexion. She has ever commented that my face complexion looked dull and that I should apply sunblock. There was also once I told her I'd be attending a wedding and she impromptu-ly asked me to sit down so that she could apply hot pink nail polish on my toes. She makes no pretense. So genuine.
Ended my day with slurpilicious Slurpee! Cheers! Needed some activity in my system after work! Pop, Pop, poP! Feeling too tired for a short work day like this.
Need more momentum to create the right atmosphere for my darlings. For them, I'll try harder! Tomorrow will be a better day! Fighting!
